How do I configure my ePolk.com hosted email account on my smartphone?

Only three pieces of information are required to setup you ePolk.com hosted email account on any device:

  1. Your email account [youraccount@yourdomain.com]
  2. Your password
  3. Incoming/Outgoing Server: mail.epolk.net

How do I configure outgoing mail on my AT&T or Sprint smartphone?

Sprint

Sprint requires the use of 'smtp.sprintpcs.com' as the outgoing server. Using the server will require a Sprint account to logon. Call Sprint customer service for more information.

AT&T

AT&T requires the use of 'cwmx.com' as the outgoing server. Call AT&T customer service for more information.

How do I configure my ePolk.com hosted email account on my iPhone?

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. Choose Add Account...
  4. Choose Other
  5. Choose Add Mail Account
  6. Enter your Name in the Name field
    Example: John Q. Public
    Enter your ePolk.com hosted email address in the Address field
    Example: john@myemail.com
    Enter your Password in the Password field

    Choose Save
  7. Choose POP

    Under Incoming Mail Server:
    Enter mail.epolk.net in the Host Name field
    Enter your ePolk.com hosted email address in the User Name field
    Example: john@myemail.com

    Under Outgoing Mail Server:
    Enter mail.epolk.net in the Host Name field
    Enter your ePolk.com hosted email address in the User Name field
    Example: john@myemail.com
    Enter your Password in the Password field

    Choose Save
  8. Your iPhone will attempt to verify the POP account information. This may takes 60 seconds or more.
  9. You will receive a message stating:
    Cannot Connect Using SSL
    Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?

    Choose Yes

Your ePolk.com hosted email account is now configured on your iPhone.
